My Style: Fall Wedding in New England

I love a good style challenge and I got it last week: I was a guest at my cousin’s wedding which took place at 10am on a Sunday… in an art gallery…in Massachusetts… in November. I’ll be honest – I was stumped at first!

My challenge was to find something that was somewhat warm (i.e. not strapless), appropriate for a fall wedding in New England, and not too dressy since she was having a more relaxed ceremony & reception.

After searching high and low I finally found a great Ralph Lauren short-sleeve lace overlay dress in navy. I paired it with a dark green gem necklace, navy peacoat, a teal scarf for a pop of color, and neutral low-heel shoes and a small clutch purse (and panty hose because it was way too cold for bare legs!).
