Cold Shoulders

Arms will be on display this season with ‘cold shoulder’ style tops. This style is a great way to show a little skin without being too exposed. Whether you just show a little peek or the sleeve cuts open from shoulder to elbow, you’ll be able to show just as much skin as you want.

Pleats don’t have to mean khakis or plaid school girl skirts. This year, micro pleats will be in style, showing a more feminine and delicate design. Look for these on dresses, skirts and more.

The lingerie trend will feature lightweight, pretty fabrics like chiffon, satin and lace and items like slipdresses and lace accents. Note: This trend goes perfectly with the 2016 Pantone Colors of the Year – Rose Quartz (a calming rose pink shade) and Serenity (a light tranquil blue).

Wide leg pants have been sloooowly creeping their way into stores over the past year but you’ll start to see more of them now. If you’re still on the skinny jeans kick, no worries, they’ll still be around for a while. If you want to try a pair of wide leg pants, look for ones that are fitted throughout the thigh with just a slight flare and barely skim the ground.
